#sitch with @itsmissmcleod I completely understand the widespread frustration that teachers are currently experiencing with a lack of appropriate staffing, support, resources, etc. in place to support classroom management. That being said, I have done lots of research on WHY laws like this exist, have brainstormed solutions and alternatives for teachers on my campus, and have worked on advocating for others to understand the necessity of access to recess. #justslpthings #recesslaw #takeawayreces

I am so excited about NeuroAffirm and so sad it didn’t exist when I was job hunting and struggling to find neurodiversity-affirming clinics and practices in my area. Even as a therapist who knows what to look for, knows what buzz words to keep an eye out for, and what types of questions to ask, it was nearly impossible for me to find truly nd-affirming practices in my area.
