Nov 4, 2019 · So a couple of places have asked me to come cook for bigger groups of people. Its just about in possible to load that 800lb smoker on a trailer. (I know I should have just bought one on a trailer) So anyway I just spent about 2800$ on this one including shipping. So my question is, is there a group that is into selling or trading used lang smokers.

Oct 30, 2013 · Please note that the Lang Smoker is the "True Reverse Flow Smoker" and the only one on the market. I found out through a lot of digging that folks from Meadow Creek came down to Georgia, bought a Lang and tried to copy Ben Lang's reverse flow smoker design but I can personally tell you that their smoker does NOT smoke like a Lang.

There are some good groups on Facebook, Somekers & Grills Buying And Selling, Used Smokers Find Buy Sell Trade, etc. in addition to Facebook Marketplace or good 'ol Craigslist.

I don't know much about the smoker other than it was barely used and I got it for a steal. I have no idea what it sold for new but it couldn't have been cheap.

Apr 29, 2012 · As you know, the high end cookers are made with 1/4" steel (which I believe is the standard for Lang, Meadow, and Jambo). I have not cooked on Meadows or Jambos, but my Lang will turn out some killer BBQ. After you speak to enough Lang owners, and they all say "I love my Lang." -- Enough was enough for me, I took the plunge and I love MY Lang too.

Jan 27, 2011 · I ordered this smoker constructed of 1/4 inch steel instead of the stainless steel offered on the Lang website. Mods such as sliding racks are available. Be aware that R&L Carriers delivered this smoker to a residential address in one of the largest 18 wheelers I have ever seen. Delivery was to the driveway close to the street on a skid.
