Oct 17, 2006 · I have some old MEC charge bar data and old Alcan data as well as data with an old Lee Loader. All wads were seperated into two classifications. Either overpowder cards and filler wads or one piece plastic wads. i.e. WW AA and RP Power Pistons and Federal Pushin Cushions. They seemed to suggest any and all plastic one piece wads were the same.

Feb 10, 2016 · Yes Hodgdon does publish a chart. Take a look at some of Hodgdon's actual loading data. According to their data these wads are not the same. Maybe similar, but not the same. For example: 1 1/8 ounce at 1250 FPS with 700X in an AAHS hull. They list a number of wads that will "Substitute for" a WWAA12. But, you cannot get the desired velocity ...

Jul 12, 2012 · The F114 wad had one of the largest diameter gas seal of all wads measured, which included other WAA wads, Federal, Remington, Active, OEM & clones. I have the numbers in a notebook somewhere. The gas seal on the WAA12 wads I have are not the same as the F114 OEM or clones that I have. I was impressed at how well it fit thin wall hulls.

Mar 13, 2019 · The WAA12L and WAA12SL have shorter cups so they will only fit 7/8 to one ounce of shot. All modern shotgun wads are designed so that the top of the shot will be up in contact with the crimp. Longer legs on the wad mean the smaller shot charges will still be in contact with the crimp.

Aug 8, 2014 · The Waa20F1 is a 1 oz wad, where the CB 1078 is a 7/8 oz.wad. SO, you probably won't have room enough for 1 oz. of shot, using the CB 1078 wad.

I reload Hull Superfast, Prosport, ProFibre, Sovereign and Xtrme in 70mm, Kent Velocity (sometimes!), Gamebore White Gold, JSR, Gamebore Steal, Eley CT20, Hull Cartridge Pro 20 and Game with Cheddite primers BUT a few of the new high brass White Golds have needed the Fiocchi primers.
