If you want the TA shoes, the store is Saf-Gard, and is located on Roosevelt Ave. The stop to get off is 61st on the , and it is a few blocks east. These shoes are known as the "Frankenstein Boots". I have two, and wear them.

Jul 17, 2016 · I'm a T/O as well. The previous shoe company did offered 1 steel toe boot that we could've used; the one before that one didn't. Once upon a time it was only composite toe for RTO. Not anymore. Like I stated, I have personally bought and took a pair of steel toe shoes that met TA requirements to be approved by the Safety Unit.

So wear something that meets the description but don't go out and drop $150 on expensive safety shoes you're probably only gonna wear for a week (unless you're into that on your days off)

Dec 15, 2009 · For both titles, long pants and boots (boots self purchased, but have to meet TA specifics) are mandatory year-round, and the turtle neck cannot be worn with the uniform shirt. One or the other. Safety boots are available, but are quite bulky and can be uncomfortable.
