Sep 24, 2024 · Don't look for the exact part number on ebay, search generic terms, "Stihl ms250 parts lot" or "Stihl ms250 carburetor". If someone parts out a saw and they put up a bulk lot of parts, good chance it will have a carby in it. Chances are that the seller will be happy to separate it as well, in my experience. Good luck trying to fix it once again

Sep 15, 2019 · Let it set for 24 hours, trimmed the excess 'squeeze' off the sides and holes, reassembled and re-staked the middle metal parts, and put it back in the saw. I've only got 2 days, and maybe 1/2 cord worth of wood through the saw so far, and I really question how far the RTV will last, but this at least tells me that it can be done.

Mar 1, 2008 · The original drive shaft (part number 4138 710 3203) is 2 piece (male & female) but the new replacement drive shaft (part number 4138 710 3203 B) is 3 pieces (one male and 2 females) and when I slide it in the drive end is too long sticking out of the outer housing and you cannot put engine end on because the drive shaft sticking out too far.

Apr 6, 2015 · The replacement in similar quality of build plastic homeowner) for a standard 028 AV would be a ms241, and for an 028 super it would be a ms261. I would lean towards the 261 as it is still lighter than an 028 and has more power for not much money over a ms241.
