Does anyone else's DCF885 driver smell like its burning up?
Mar 7, 2013 · Yes my impact driver has a burning odor when it's running. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the way it operates just has that odor. The drill driver that came with it in the kit smells also. This is the second one that had that same odor. Took the first one back because it to had that odor and I thought there was something wrong with it.
