Mixed feeling about my new 30 degree framing nailer : r/ryobi
Mar 11, 2023 · Tried the same fully charged HP battery as before and it would fire one nail and then the red battery light would come on. Switched to a 4ah standard battery and the tool worked fine. Shot ~80 nails into stacked 2x scrap.

Apr 23, 2023 · I know they had to finish nailers for a very long time, and when I was looking for a nail guns I wished Ryobi had a framing available because I wanted cordless but I wanted both the Finish and Framing nailer, and wanted the same battery system. I have the Paslode cordless nailers. I got the Framing nailer, and a straight finish nailer.

Sep 7, 2021 · I was at HD a couple months ago when Ryobi happened to have a huge display. I asked about a framing nailer and the rep said that price/customer bases were a big concern. I'm not sure if he was giving me a load or not but seeing as the 16ga is $300CAD it seems quite possible the price would be near the newly released Ridgid one.

Does Ryobi make a cordless mail gun suitable for fencing?

Feb 9, 2022 · Keep an eye on your local classifieds. Lots of amazing deals can be had on the cordless Paslode framing nailer. People freak out becuase it takes a gas cartridge, but they work amazing well. When buying supplies for smaller projects, just buy the project packs, it’s like 1000 nails and a gas cartridge.

I've used my Ryobi brad nailer for about 6 years or so. It works but it's definitely not great quality. It "hiccups" pretty often, where it will only complete half the cycle and fail to drive a nail. The motor will whine but it won't actually "pop" the nail in. It drives it fine the next time.
