What the hell, i swear Zero Dawn looks much better when I play it back then. Ps5 really managed to raised the differences to a noticeable amount in comparison from Ps4 to Ps4 pro. Still surprised with the Demon Souls picture, thought Demon Souls on Ps3 looks much better than all the comparison pictures, damn nostalgic effect.

The 7870 (the PS4 has a custom APU, but the 7870 is the same GPU architecture and most comparable card) performs similarly to a 660Ti or 670 (a bit under a modern 1050). Not top of the line, but certainly not garbage for the time.

Aug 28, 2022 · I played some old PS4 games recently that came out during the first few years of the console and I was blown away by how ugly they looked. My eyes have gotten used to modern PS4 games and in comparison stuff like launch titles just look ugly. The graphics of PS4 games have gotten significantly better as the generation has gone on.

Sep 8, 2020 · Uh, actually it's much closer to a 7850 (the PS4 GPU is literally based on the 7850), which is less than half as powerful as the RX 470. Don't know where you get the 470-class performance from. The PS4 Pro is closer to the RX 470. The PS4 Pro uses a downclocked RX 480 which performs pretty much identically to a 470.

Oct 22, 2022 · It makes no sense that to get both ps4/ps5 platinums i need to finish a game on ps4 first, that defeats the purpose of ever touching the ps5 version for me. Being able to finish a game on ps5, actually get to enjoy the enhancements, get the plat, and THEN transfer the save to ps4 to unlock THAT platinum should be the standard.

Jun 27, 2022 · After these it's not as clear-cut, but I would say definitely worth mentioning are Horizon Forbidden West (Very hard due to sub 1080p resolution, but if we're talking only graphics, it has to be), Death Stranding (best face rendering on PS4), Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (best animation work and physics on PS4) and Detroit: Become human.
