Jan 27, 2011 · Like all Langs the 36 patio is reverse flow. Specifics such a rack size and dimensions are available on the Lang Website. But it is one of the smallest and most affordable reverse flow smokers I could find. I ordered this smoker constructed of 1/4 inch steel instead of the stainless steel offered on the Lang website.

(I know I should have just bought one on a trailer) So anyway I just spent about 2800$ on this one including shipping. So my question is, is there a group that is into selling or trading used lang smokers.

Feb 16, 2010 · There are many excellent smokers out there, I have a Lang and like the ease of maintaining the temps across the cooking area due to the reverse flow plate, Clean up is a snap. I can Q, keep warm or grill a steak in the warmer. All 1/4 inch steel makes it easier to hold temps once you get it there. and wood is cheaper than charcoal.

Dec 8, 2019 · The firebox on the Lang is 17"x17". The firebox on the SQ36 is 16"x16". My chimney still wouldn't work on the Lang, but I use a torch to fire it up anyway. The Lang weighs in at 665lbs, the SQ36 at 315lbs. They are both hand made from 1/4" plate steel. The Lang is probably a bit easier to move around with the caster wheels, unless one breaks. RAY

The cover will be reinforced for the sharp corners and top of the stack, have a zipper on the end for easy on/off and have straps with quick release buckles to hold snug.
