Apr 21, 2019 · Of course there are several websites that show you the exact measurements, but some of them were a bit confusing or even broken. I enjoy working in 3D so I used Fusion 360 to create this technical drawing of the LEGO Brick. You can download the model over at GrabCAD and the PDF file from here. This plate is 1/3 of the height of a normal brick.

Jun 25, 2017 · Basic geometric bricks are made of only these dimensions. These are also ideal representational dimensions since we're not going to manufacture these. Studs are Ø4.8 by 1.6 high, one brick length/width is 8.0, brick height is 9.6, etc. See image below.
Jan 7, 2014 · The special brick on top of a normal Technics bearing brick gives us a series of three holes in a vertical line with 8mm distances, so the vertical red plate fits exactly. But there is almost no clearance between the top of the special brick and the bottom of the plate above it. In the drawing below the special brick is coloured yellow.

Create the Lego blocks below using the Inventor software program. Create the part file first followed by the part drawing. Dimension the part drawing as seen in the figures below.
The following illustration presents the 2x4 brick's top and bottom and the 1x4 brick's bottom. The top is covered by studs (referring to some patents, it could be also named knobs).
