No DBNO, only COG playable characters, weapon swap with Y, only a primary and secondary, etc. Judgment aimed to be a 3rd person COD, and Gears of War's reputation suffered as a result. Gears of War 4 was a solid multiplayer, but then TC screwed the pooch with Gears 5. Either adapt to use a Gnasher or stop playing Gears.

Jun 1, 2022 · That's why I never got deep into vs MP games in Gears. I thought 5 started out decent until every spawn weapon besides the gnasher was nerfed or removed. God forbid you try to use anything other than gnasher wall bounce combos in Gears. I want to play gears of war, not shotguns of war. Hence I prefer pve.

Why the hatred for people who don't exclusively use the Gnasher?
The whole premise of Gears is there's no mercy in war and devious tricks and whatever works to win is allowed. Gnasher Gnoobs Gnever Gnot Gnincompoops Even the above absurd gn-comment will get them to whine.

Jan 1, 2024 · Wall bouncing existed in Gears 1 but it wasn't as prevalent as it is now. It's a speed game now. Me personally I fell in love with Gears 1 multiplayer, skipped gears 2 because it didn't feel like gears 1 MP, played 3 for a bit and toyed around with the double barrel shotty, played 4 and currently playing 5.
