A really good alternative is expanding foam, it can be placed right against all the materials and wont allow moisture in (its own vapor barrier) its about a buck per sq foot for a 2x4 thick wall, so it shouldnt be that much at all for your trailer (and the "R" value is higher them styrofoam)

Mar 1, 2015 · If you grossly over size the AC units on your trailer it will get cold inside but it will become clammy because they will cycle and when they cycle excessively, you loose humidity control. In other words I would rather my trailer was 75F and had good control of humidity than 65 with poor humidity control. You will notice the difference.
