Really old vs. less old Craftsman 113 model table saws.
Jan 3, 2013 · It was $80 for the table saw and scroll saw, with cabinet and some other tools, and $125 for the fence and a #8 plane. I figure between the plane, scroll saw, cabinet and other tools there's at least $55 there, so about $150 for the table saw and fence, give or take. Thanks for the advice on belts and pals.

Dec 23, 2011 · Sorry for bringing back a super old thread. I have what is probably a early 90's craftsman table saw that I inherited from my grandfather when he passed. Just this past weekend when I raised the blade higher than it usually is I noticed the belt tighten a lot. I have the nut holding tension on the motor tight.

May 19, 2017 · It was posted for $200.00. The owner deleted the post so it might have sold. That saw appeared to need some work. Currently, there is a floor model available in Port Sanilac. The seller is asking $323.00. There isn't a clear image of this saw just an image the seller found on the web of a similar saw and a real poor image of his saw.

May 6, 2023 · Can this saw cut 1.5" thick with an 8.25 inch blade? Can this saw rip 5/4 fresh cut (green) black ash without bogging down? I went out and bought a cheap 8.25" DeWalt 24T ripping blade and it ripped right through the ash and some 1.5" stock as well, without slowing down.

Apr 9, 2024 · I had a late 60's vintage Craftsman Table Saw. There were several issues that I had with it. The table top had a dip in it in the middle, making setting the blade at a true 90 difficult. That was overcome with a crosscut sled, but rip cuts were a little harder to get square. The second issue was the fence, it was worthless. Throw it away.
Help with Craftsman 100 table saw motor replacement
Jan 28, 2017 · My first table saw was a Craftsman 100, circa 1960's I used it for about 40+ years and finally parted it out. The motor mount is a hinged affair, where the weight of the motor keeps the belt under tension. It is NOT a "tight as you can make it" arrangement like some other saws.
