Mar 10, 2007 · I know, Bose arent high in the rankins amongst AV fans for various reasons. Fair enough! I've got the Bose 900 soundbar paired with the 700 sub. It's ok, I guess. The base is powerful. It's better for music than films I feel. I think there could be a few more modes and settigns via the app, but hey ho.

Oct 17, 2018 · I've had the smaller JBL Bar 1000 (7.1.4), which uses the same detachable-rears concept, for about 3 months now - it fits the bill perfectly in that I (we) don't have big chunky rears permanently on show, but on a Friday or Saturday night can better enjoy a movie, and without the hassle of needing extra sockets, cables, receivers, etc.

Bose 900 or Samsung hw-q930... which would you have?
Apr 6, 2006 · The 500 bar is ok but looking at upgrading. My first option would be to sell the 500 and get a 900 or possibly 700 to replace it so I could utilise the sub and surround speakers. My other option would be to sell the Bose gear and by a new system - I have ben looking at the Samsung HW-Q930. Any advice would be appreciated.
LG CX + Bose Soundbar 700 + Apple TV 4K = sound dropouts
Sep 29, 2020 · The Bose soundbar 700 only supports eARC on paper. It's audio formats are all limited to the same audio formats of ARC so its not a good idea to use the eARC mode as this enables sending audio formats the bose 700 cannot handle. eARC on the LG supports PCM 7.1 audio, the ATV4K and PS4 detect this and try to send PCM to the Bose 700.
