A rare early vacuum cleaner! An antique circa 1910 Doty vacuum sweeper, (cleaner) in old red paint. The handle is wood, the nozzle and wheels are cast iron, and the body is tin. It works by rapidly moving it back and forth. The movement of the wheels mechanically operates the bellows which creates the vacuum and sucks up the dirt.
