Lang Smokers vs. other Top of The Line Smokers

I am going to go down to Home Depot/Lowes and buy a nice tarp cover that I can tie around the bottom of the smoker to protect it from all the weather. The Church BBQ Team Lead that I mentioned in an earlier discussion does this with his Lang 60 and it works just fine.

May 28, 2024 · For me being in Hawaii it was a no brainer as Home Depot shipped to my local store for free and I just had to go pick it up. Shipping for me is a killer if I was to have a smoker shipped to me. almost doubles the cost. I know it has to be put together but it was not that hard and actually bolts up very solid.

After assembly the cooking chamber door would not shut properly. The gasket set worked fine and they knew what to send me for that smoker.
