May 11, 2014 · Suddenly I am having strange symptoms while playing my PS4. Two things either happen, 1. Ten seconds after turning the PS4 on, my TV loses the PS4's HDMI signal. It comes back within 5 seconds. 2. While playing games, streaming movies, or navigating the OS, I get flashes of white or green. This usually happens when there is a change.

Dec 21, 2015 · Awakened PS4 from sleep mode and was welcomed to a black screen. The sound and everything still works but no picture. PS4 is hooked directly into HDMI on the TV. I tried the safe mode thing (it switches the TV over to 480p when you do it correctly right?) but it still isn't showing a picture.

Change the resolution to 1080p. Then the console will boot. If you disable HDCP you'll then be able to select 4k without it being a black screen.
