Even with those things in mind, it's easily the best biography of the band for fans of the band, and I think True paints the best portrait of Cobain.

You can be bitter about Kurt or whatever, but that dude and the whole band were just a bunch of “losers” before they got big. But they were talented and persistent. Apr 1, 2022 · Cobain Unseen book is not biography but it really good way to get in Kurt world and has tons of pictures you can't find elsewhere. Everet True True Nirvana is massive book that has several stories you can't find anywhwere else, it's also hard to read cause of rambling. Talks as much of Everett as it talks about Nirvana. Good pictures too.

Dec 25, 2023 · Judging by his actual friends/peers like Krist, Dave, and people like Jerry Cantrell, Kim Thayil, Eddie Vedder, etc and the kind of people they turned out to be in their 30-60s, if Kurt hadn't fallen into drugs he'd probably have turned out to be a pretty good dude. Those guys are nice people, and Kurt was their friend.

As a side note to this thread, I’d also say he probably had a good sense of who Kurt was. At least as a band mate and someone who made music with him so would recommend reading his memoir if OP wants to learn more.

They tried to get him a place in a Seattle cemetery, but they declined cause they already have Brandon and Bruce Lee and Jimi Hendrix grave (Jimi was exhumed 2002 and transferred to different location) and these gathered a lot of issues.
