Ladder stand.. ladder extensions, Anybody seen them?
Feb 28, 2011 · I have two Big Dog stands that came as 17.5ft stands. I called Big Dog and asked if I could get an extension ladder and if it was safe. I was told that they were good to 30ft and I bought the extensions. No problem except it takes a little more horsepower to get them up as a 22.5ft. stand. Pulling them up is just about impossible.

Anybody used the ladder stand crank/pully systems?
Aug 31, 2021 · And the ladder is too long to push the top up the tree and feed the ladder at the same time. I went to Home Depot and bought 100' of 3/8" rope & enough pulleys to make a 4:1 purchase system. I threw another rope over a limb to pull the pulley system up the tree, tie the other end to the top of the ladder stand and up it goes.
Excalibur cocking / decocking routine for treestand hunting
Oct 14, 2023 · I rope cock my Excalibur Phoenix before I go into woods/ladder stand. I do not load an arrow until I'm sitting down and fully ready to hunt. At end of daily hunt I remove arrow back to quiver then exit ladder stand with crossbow still cocked. The crossbow stays cocked for up to 3 days unless I actually shoot an arrow at a deer.

Yet after performing the 20 yard zero on my new R10 which had a test tag of 415 fps, I did not have to alter either of the two truing points at all.

Aug 14, 2023 · Easy to put up a 2-man walmart ladder stand by yourself. Just cut you a 2 X 4 about 32" long and notch one end so the bottom ladder rung fits inside the notch. Other end of the 2 X 4 goes against the tree trunk. Then just walk the stand up. The 2 X 4 keeps the stand from raring up off the ground at the end of the ladder. Easy-peezy!!
