Jun 11, 2009 · The belkin is powered by your car so it will turn on and off along with your car. To pair it, you just press the button once, you don't have to hold it down. You can't use the car speakers to take a call and use the iPhones mic. I don't think that is possible with any Bluetooth receiver of this type.

Jul 5, 2010 · I do think the Mazda's implementation of Carplay itself is buggy. Using the Carlink or just usb cable it will freeze periodically. Easy fix is to press the car's music button and then back to navigation and it clears itself up. In the Genesis it just seems to always work, connecting within 45 seconds of turning the car on.

Mar 7, 2007 · I have the same problem not being able to use bluetooth headset. I went back to my Ipod Nano 5th generation. I was able to find a bluetooth dongle for it and I plug any stereo cord in the headset location and I can use my bluetooth headset. Ipod nano 7 is just one big disappointment and not worth the money. Generation 5 is still the best.
