Does anyone know about the VHS releases of Cars? : r/VHS - Reddit
Nov 25, 2015 · Supposedly, Cars was released on VHS exclusively through the Disney Movie Club in February of 2007. If this is true, it would make it the last commercially available VHS in the US, both from Disney (Bambi II in February 2006 is what's normally cited.

Sealed just sold on an auction for over 2k and I’m mad I didn’t bid more on it. Sealed chicken little and other ones from that late Disney line do sell for a premium. I’ve seen sealed graded cars VHS sell for 8k. Opened used copies of cars can fetch over 1000 and I personally would pay 1000 for an opened copy and I’d call it a steal

Jan 6, 2021 · Cars (2006 film) is NOT the rarest VHS ever made. There are more rarer VHS’s than that (I even have a VHS from 2013, manufactured in North America, for V/H/S/2), and in my opinion, $3000 or $7000 seems highly unreasonable for 1 tape!

(EDIT: A History Of Violence) I also notice that people are making fake auctions, buying it themselves on alternate accounts, not paying for it and letting the account get banned, and then relisting it again just to make the price seem valuable.

Jan 9, 2020 · 2005 was the year they stopped mass producing VHS. That's why Cars is such a rare release because it was only produced for the Disney Movie Club. I have no idea how many were produced. I've heard of a a few others that were released by Disney around that time frame (2006-2007), but I've never seen any of them.

Dec 30, 2020 · You complete dumbass. There's loads of female racers in the Cars Universe. In the demo derby most of the racers are female. They also have female leagues for races. (Just like male and female football in real life). Plus there are loads of Electric cars in cars 3 including Tesla's. Electric cars literally didn't exist in 2006 as usable transport.

I originally wanted the Japanese version, but I couldn't find any listing for it anywhere (albeit I'm sure there's two posts for it in this subreddit).

Jun 23, 2021 · Even the supposedly well-documented Cars VHS has scarce information out there. All I can find are some pictures of the box and some unsourced claims on various Disney and Pixar wikis. Can anybody provide a reliable source for these VHS releases, such as a sales brochure or advertising pamphlet, or perhaps an archived DMC webpage?
Any good places to get South Korean VHS tapes that isn't eBay?
Dec 19, 2023 · Right now I'm trying to get my hands on a Korean copy of Cars (2006), but the only listing I've found of it is an 80 dollar one in eBay, and a lot of tapes there are extremely expensive. I tried searching the movie's Korean title everywhere and I only found one place which I heavily doubt ships to my country or the US, but I don't know why ...
