Aug 17, 2020 · Ive been welding for years and have to give credit to the little titanium 125. Its DC, that already makes it far better than most of whats available on the market. For example, Lincoln has some 110 flux stuff, but a lot of their's is stil AC junk!

Mar 5, 2022 · I've been using a HF 90 amp flux welder as seen in the video on a 15 amp breaker. Never trips even when welding for 10 seconds or so continuously on max. I decided to upgrade to the Titanium 125 easy flux as I've heard good things about it.

Apr 20, 2023 · Use nozzle tip dip and you won't need to replace the tip for a very long time. Not sure how long, I've never replaced mine (gone through 1.5 spools of wire so far). From YT videos, other flux core users that use nozzle gel have also said they're still on their original "consumables"

Is the Titanium worth the $100 more than the Chicago Electric? The cheaper one with just the min/max switch rather than a knob seems like it would be pretty limiting, even for a beginner...

A fan blowing right on your might mess up your welds/shielding gas unless you are using flux core wire. Blowing near you is fine just to get some air moving nearby but if you notice a lot of porosity (bubbling of your welds) turn the fan away some more.
