Oct 21, 2015 · 10 HP Tecumseh on a rear engine riding mower. It will not gradually increase throttle speed. Soon as you start to increase the throttle it jumps to fast idle. I soaked the carb in Chem Dip and then rebuilt it, but same issue. Bad carb? Or can something be out of adjustment? Engine numbers: TVXL220-157213 Here is a video of the issue.

Sep 5, 2012 · Have a an older craftsman ltv10 varidrive lawn tractor with a 10 horse tecumseh on it. Problem is it blows alot of oil out the breather. Currently running without an air filter or the breather hooked up so I can see what's going on, no mowing or driving just runnign the engine.
