The assembly is fully resolved as is the drawing and I set the option to open new views in high quality. However, I know the views are in draft quality because of the pointer icon (lightning bolt over a box) and, well, the poor line quality.

Solidworks has a very straightforward mechanism (Insert>Explode Line Sketch) that makes assembly lines in a nonsensical/not straightforward manner, seemingly dependent upon mouse cursor location, and not features. (in order to place a bolt in a hole, that was only exploded in 1 dimension, might take movement in 2+ dimensions to "undo").

After the SP5 install....all was normal again. Until just a few moments ago, and this has happened again. Cannot select any line entities on a drawing to place dimension, whether it be an existing drawing or a new generated sheet. Anyone else run into this? Ideas on how to resolve, other than re-installing software.

when you create a bolt circle on the drawing then add to it; right click on the bolt circle, "add to center mark set", you will not be able to get the diameter.
