May 31, 2024 · Wow! That is cool. I like the combination of Librivox Catalog update and audio playing. Is there anyway you could modify it (or create a related one) to allow it to play M4B files? The format was designed for iPhones. There are a few apps on Android like "Smart AudioBook Player" that will play M4B, but not that follow the LIbrivox Catalog.

The works produced by the great people here deserve more distribution. I hope Gem helps people enjoy the audio books better than the ones in the market. Let me know if you have any questions!

Mar 19, 2017 · Handles MP3's & AAC (the underlying audio source of LibriVox M4B / M4A files. ALAC files are handled as well if used as sound source if M4A files. WAV files, too, I believe. This app or Documents, anyhow. Other formats via pro upgrade; VLC (Video Lan) app will play majority of audio files for free, though.
