The president-elect is staffing his administration with people affiliated with the controversial policy and personnel blueprint that he had disavowed on the campaign trail.

President-elect Donald Trump has named Russell Vought, a Project 2025 co-author and former director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), to resume the role in his second term. Trump praised Vought as a cost-cutter focused on dismantling the “Deep State” and advancing an “America First Agenda.”
