Brooke Rollins, president of the America First Policy Institute, an organization closely allied with President-elect Donald Trump, has been selected to serve as agriculture secretary.

President-elect Trump announced today he will nominate Brooke Rollins as agriculture secretary. Rollins served as director of the Office of American Innovation and acting director of the Domestic Policy Council during the first Trump administration.

President-elect Donald Trump has tapped Brooke Rollins, head of the America First Policy Institute, to oversee the Department of Agriculture. She has a long history in conservative politics.

The America First Policy Institute is a right-leaning think tank whose personnel have worked closely with Trump's campaign to help shape policy for his incoming administration.
