Barry Odom will almost triple his UNLV salary in his first year as coach of the Purdue football team, according to contract details released Tuesday.

New Purdue football coach Barry Odom said he's "open" to the thought of players from UNLV following him to West Lafayette through the transfer portal.At his introductory press conference Tuesday, Odom was asked about the trend of players following coaches who move from the "Group of Five" level to a power conference and if UNLV players had contacted him.
