It’s been rumoured for years that Apple is working on its first foldable device, but sadly that device still isn’t launching as soon as many would hope. Anyhow, a foldable iPhone is certainly what most people will expect Apple to pull out from its magic hat.

Apple has an iPhone model that’s thinner and another that folds in the pipeline, according to a Sunday report by the Wall Street Journal. They could launch in the coming years.

People familiar with the plans told the Wall Street Journal that Apple is developing two foldable devices. One would serve as a laptop, and a smaller one would be a foldable iPhone. Apple is also reportedly planning to introduce a thinner iPhone beginning next year.

We’ve been hearing rumors about the foldables Apple may or may not be making for years, from clamshell iPhone prototypes to plans for a foldable iPad, but the latest suggests we may also be in for something much bigger.
