Barrington man ‘savagely’ beat doctor with bat before shooting her in front of their child prosecutors say
William R. Zientek, 46, is charged with first-degree murder in the slaying Sunday of endocrinologist Olga Duchon in the 400 block of West Russell Street. Zientek is being held at Cook County Jail. Authorities say the pair were the parents of a 3-year-old child.
