Bhopal: High drama was witnessed at Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal after the Vande Bharat Express for Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi was delayed on Monday by nearly 11 hours due to a technical snag,

The semi-high-speed train, which typically departs at 5:40 am, was still at the station by evening, prompting irate passengers to stage a protest on the tracks.

A significant delay of nearly 11 hours in the Vande Bharat Express from Bhopal to Delhi sparked protests at Rani Kamalapati railway station. A technical snag caused the cancellation of subsequent journeys.

Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj)–Hazrat Nizamuddin Vande Bharat Express was to leave Rani Kamalapati railway station (RKP) at 5.50am, but it finally left for New Delhi at 4.30pm, around 11 hours from the schedule departure. The delay was attributed to a technical fault in the spring of a coach, which took over 17 hours to fix it.

As a result of the delay, the Vande Bharat Express (20172) from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Rani Kamalapati station was cancelled on Monday evening.
