President-elect Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met Friday night at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home to discuss U.S.-Canada relations, as Trump threatens to impose hefty tariffs on both Canada and Mexico.

The unannounced meeting comes days after President-elect pledged to enact crippling tariffs on Canada and Mexico over illegal immigration and drugs.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flew to Florida and met with Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club on Friday evening, less than a week after the U.S. president-elect threatened heavy tariffs on imports from North American trading partners.
