The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has relaunched its popular EagleCam, more than a year after the bald eagle nest seen in the original version came crashing to the ground. The new EagleCam went live this week on YouTube and the department's website,

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says a new nest and bald eagle pair will be featured in this year's EagleCam. The pair has been at their nest for at least four years, the DNR said, and has successfully reared several broods of eaglets.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has launched a new EagleCam that will provide a live look at a family of bald eagles in its natural habitat. Viewers will soon be able to see the eagles start their "courting" process by trying to impress each other with sticks and nest-making abilities before mating season.

ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources EagleCam, with viewers in all 50 states and more than 150 countries, will feature a new location and pair of bald eagles when it goes live Thursday, Nov. 21, the agency said in a news release. The original EagleCam will also remain on during the coming season.
