BOISE, Idaho — Thanks to the help of some local students, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has named 12 snowplows. Twelve winners were selected from the department's first-ever Name a Snowplow contest. Most names were submitted by eighth graders across the state, but employees helped out and named some snowplows as well.

The Idaho Transportation Department has selected two winners from North Idaho for its student contest to name a snowplow.
