Heavenly Ski Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It provides challenging slopes for skiers of all levels, and after this viral video, it can now boast that it has “moving obstacles” to test even the most experienced skiers. By the way, those moving obstacles I’m alluding to are bears.

A video captured the moment a bear crossed a ski run and collided with a snowboarder Sunday, Dec. 8, at Heavenly Resort in Lake Tahoe, California.

The snow awaits. Besides some clouds and early morning fog, Lake Tahoe ski resorts are stuck in a pattern of no real changes in the weather forecast for the next nine or 10 days. Those conditions, combined with the decent snowfall in November that ushered in the opening of the area’s ski resorts, mean one thing.
