BOZEMAN — Yellowstone National Park announced Tuesday this year's winter season will begin on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Yellowstone National Park's winter season kicks off on Sunday, December 15, offering visitors a unique way to explore the park from mid-December to mid-March. During this time, most park roads are only accessible by commercially guided snowmobiles and snowcoaches or via the non-commercially guided snowmobile access program.
