LYNNWOOD, Wash. - A man in his 20s is dead following a Monday morning fire in Snohomish County. Initial reports were for a house fire. However, when South County Fire arrived on scene in Larch Way, Lynnwood, they found a shed in flames.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A man in his 20s has died after a shed caught fire Monday in Lynnwood. South County Fire says someone called 911 after seeing the flames and said someone was still inside. It happened at a home on Larch Way just after 8 a.m.

Firefighters found a man in his 20s dead inside a shed that caught fire in Lynnwood early Monday.
Man Dies in Lynnwood Shed Fire
When firefighters arrived at the 20500 block of Larch Way, they found a shed next to the home fully engulfed in flames. The shed had been used as a living quarters by one of the residents. Firefighters stopped the fire from spreading to the home and extinguished the fire within about 5 minutes of arriving.
