Rancho Cordova High School students devote 10 Saturdays to ride American River trails and earn bikes.

After years of construction, the new bike trail over the Montlake Lid project opened to the public on Saturday.

Committee member Janice Canaday said she hopes the trail is just the beginning of “many things to come” in highlighting Williamsburg’s Black history and the community.
