Brands of the recalled carrots include Bunny Luv, Cal Organic, Trader Joe's, 365 Whole Foods, Wegmans and more. The recall was initiated by Grimmway Farms. So far, there have been 39 illnesses, 15 hospitalizations and one death associated with the outbreak. Cases have been reported in 18 states.

The outbreak, detected across 18 U.S. states, is linked to carrots and baby carrots sold by brands such as Wegmans, 365, Trader Joe’s and Nature’s Promise.

One person has died and dozens have been sickened, many of them local, across nearly 20 states in an E. coli outbreak the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says is linked to organic bagged carrots.
