Amid the ongoing stalemate over change in design of Vande Bharat sleeper trains to be manufactured by a joint venture (JV) firm led by a Russian railway major, a top railway official said all issues have been “resolved”.

The Vande Bharat sleeper version is presently under commissioning at ICF and the coaches/train rakes will be despatched for further trails by RDSO (Research Design and Standards Organisation under the Ministry of Railways).

Earlier, some reports quoting officials from the Russian company Transmashholding (TMH) claimed that Indian Railways demanded toilets and a pantry car in the train which necessitated tweaking the trains' design.
