The Troy Police Department has identified the man shot by police on Monday and the officers who fired. Police said Wednesday 39-year-old Michael Broadie was shot after leading police on a foot chase around midnight.

In an update on the officer-involved shooting in Troy on Monday, Troy Police said Michael L. Broadie, 39, of Albany, is facing four counts of first-degree attempted murder of a police officer. Police also said he is also accused of possessing ecstasy pills.

Troy Police identified the victim in Monday's officer-involved shooting. Michael L. Broadie, 39, of Albany, was shot by police Monday morning after he reportedly fired one round at on-scene police officers.

Troy Police fired guns 18 times at a suspect early Monday morning, they said. The shooting happened at 431 River Street.

Authorities in Utah County are investigating an officer-involved critical incident (OICI) that occurred in November.

A shooting involving a Torrance police officer is under investigation, the department announced on Monday. The shooting was reported sometime before 6:30 p.m. on the 2900 block of Oregon Court. The Torrance Police Department said officers were called to the area for a “suspicious circumstances call” prior to the shooting.
