Taylor Swift has made a surprise stop at a Kansas City children’s hospital, shocking parents and patients alike as she laughed with them, posed for photos and exchanged gifts. All parent Cassie Thomas was told beforehand was that she might want to brush her hair and teeth because there was going to be a special visitor.

Days after Taylor Swift wrapped her record-shattering Eras Tour, the pop superstar paid a visit to some of her younger fans at a Kansas City children's hospital. On Thursday, Dec. 12, the "Karma" singer dropped by Children's Mercy Hospital, leaving staffers, patients and their families shocked — and thrilled.

Before the show aired, Swift spent Thursday giving back. The singer was spotted visiting kids at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, where her boyfriend Travis Kelce lives. She reportedly made stops in the hospital’s hematology and oncology wards, and spent at least an hour with the children.
