Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) completed their squad for IPL 2025 at the Jeddah mega auction, picking 15 players. Having retained key players like Head, Cummins, and Klaasen, SRH strategically used their remaining purse to acquire top talents like Ishan Kishan and Mohammed Shami.

The side under Pat Cummins' leadership reached the final of the 2024 IPL. However, they did not match Shreyas Iyer's high-flying Kolkata Knight Riders on the night in Chennai.
