The Under Graduate Medical Education Board, an autonomous body under the National Medical Commission has released the NEET UG 2025 Syllabus. It has been uploaded on the official website of NMC. The syllabus includes detailed descriptions of topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

While NEET was under the scanner over several irregularities, including alleged leaks, UGC-NET was cancelled as the ministry received inputs that the integrity of the exam had been compromised

The education ministry is in talks with the health ministry to decide whether NEET UG will shift to an online mode, with a decision expected soon.

The idea of transitioning NEET to a computer-based test (CBT) has been explored in the past but gained renewed momentum following a paper leak controversy earlier this year.
