Qualcomm Inc.’s interest in pursuing an acquisition of Intel Corp. has cooled, according to people familiar with the matter, upending what would have likely been one of the largest technology deals of all time.

Qualcomm's interest in acquiring chipmaker Intel is said to have cooled, Bloomberg News reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The complexities associated with acquiring all of Intel has made a deal less attractive to Qualcomm, saying that it is possible Qualcomm may look at pieces of Intel instead or rekindle its interest later.
