Authorities say U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have seized more than 3,000 fake Gibson electric guitars shipped from Asia at the Los Angeles-Long Beach Seaport

Thousands of counterfeit Gibson electric guitars were seized at the Los Angeles-Long Beach Seaport, in what local and federal authorities described as the "largest counterfeit musical instrument seizure on record.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said its agents intercepted 3,000 fake Gibson electric guitars which were shipped from Asia. If the guitars had been authentic, they would have been worth $18 million.
