Penn State closes out its regular season on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium against the 4-7 Maryland Terps. James Franklin’s Nittany Lions are looking to improve to 11-1 and lock down a spot in the college playoff.

One final regular season game awaits Penn State on Saturday when the Nittany Lions host a struggling Terrapins team in the Regular season finale. But it’s anything but Penn State’s final game this season.

Fans will not be charged for the passes until Penn State is guaranteed to host a playoff game, which will be announced on Dec. 8 when the final College Football Playoff bracket is unveiled. All parking passes for the game will be physical and shipped the week of Dec. 8-14.

Penn State is likely to hold its enviable No. 4 ranking following its road win vs. Minnesota. The teams ranked directly above the Lions either earned convincing victories (Ohio State, Texas) or did not play (Oregon). There was plenty of movement right behind PSU, though, starting with losses by Indiana and Alabama.

Notre Dame remains behind Penn State in the College Football Playoff rankings but that could just be temporary.
