It seems that Apple’s next big thing could be quite literal as the company is reportedly working on a giant foldable iPad.

As we reported earlier, the Wall Street Journal has described a folding iPhone that's bigger than an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and also revealed that Apple is working on a large folding laptop. Now, a second report, from Bloomberg, says that Apple is working on a folding iPad.

Commentary: A foldable iPad would feel like an evolution of Apple's tablet, unlike foldable phones which can feel like two experiences crammed together.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, knowledgeable Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman claims the company’s “new vision for the future of computing” is a giant foldable iPad (or iPad-like device).
