Indian automaker Tata Motors said on Thursday it will increase prices of its commercial vehicles, including trucks and buses, by up to 2% from January. The company had previously said it would raise prices of its cars by 3% in January.

This marks Tata Motors' fourth price hike this year, reflecting the broader struggles faced by Indian automakers amid slowing demand after years of growth.

Earlier, major Indian automakers JSW MG Motor India, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) and Maruti Suzuki have announced the price hike of their respective vehicles from January 2025.

Tata Motors has confirmed a price hike for its entire vehicle lineup, which will come into effect from January 2025. This includes the company’s popular SUVs, electric vehicles (EVs), and other models.
