A new match has been announced for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, as Sami Zayn will face Drew McIntyre. McIntyre returned on the December 2 episode of WWE RAW and attacked Zayn at the end of the show.

Drew McIntyre is not one for pulling his punches. The former WWE Champion can be as vicious on the microphone as he is in the ring, as his current rival Sami Zayn found out earlier today. Zayn visited the NCAA Big XII Conference Championship game alongside his War Games teammate Jey Uso.

On the December 9 edition of WWE Raw, Sami Zayn confirmed a new match for Saturday Night's Main Event, saying that he's spoke to Adam Pearce about facing Drew McIntyre in a singles match at the show. This match comes after McIntyre made his return to the company and attacked Zayn on the December 2 edition of Raw.

Drew McIntyre returned on the December 2 episode of WWE RAW, and he explained his actions the following week. McIntyre had been absent since WWE Bad Blood, but he appeared at the end of the December 2 episode of WWE RAW and attacked Sami Zayn.
